Equipment: Blender

Ingredients

• ½ cup simple syrup
• Ice
• Bacardi Gold Rum
• Fresh Huckleberries

Directions

• Add simple syrup to large blender
• Fill blender ⅔ with ice
• Add rum until level with top of ice
• Fill remaining ⅓ of blender with huckleberries
• Blend until smooth
• Pour into chilled glass.
• Garnish with whole huckleberries
• Enjoy!!!

Barkeep Notes

Hucks only grow in the wild in certain mountainous areas (Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington in the US) so you need to put on your hiking boots and do some picking or special order them. I hand pick mine which makes the end product that much sweeter (and a lot less expensive). Either way, it’s worth it!!!
