Intro
Belfast is the capital and largest city in Northern Ireland, located on the banks of the River Lagan. It has an edgy vibe to it with a mix of old world and modern architecture. There is still a strong sense of the Troubles that arose from sectarian conflict in the late 20th century but also a strong sense of hope and rejuvenation that truly makes this a fascinating city. We recommend spending at least two days here.
