Intro

Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland and the seat of the Scottish government. It has a terrific historical “Old Town” section as well as all of the contemporary trappings of a modern cosmopolitan city. We like to stay on the border of the two sections which allows us to do the touristy stuff by day and hit the city scene at night. There is a really excellent mix of events to enjoy in this awesome town as well as some great opportunities for fun day trips. We recommend at least 4 days here, 5-6 days would be even better.
